Customer case · Vitaly Okunev
A connected system
for a training business
My platform brought the customer’s sales funnels, Telegram follow-up, CRM, homework, and course delivery into one installation. This is the system behind a marketplace-training business with hundreds of thousands of contact records
Contact and purchase counts were checked directly in the client’s database. CRM records cover the business’s leads, subscribers, and customers
The business problem
Teach a profession
Keep the customer journey connected
Vitaly’s business teaches people how to work as marketplace managers. A free four-lesson “test drive” introduces the profession and leads into a practical paid course. That requires more than a landing page: participant identity, lesson access, messages, homework, follow-up, and purchases need to stay connected
The inspected installation links those parts through the platform. The customer supplied the training content, audience, offer, and sales operation. The infrastructure I built made those workflows configurable in one product
How the configured funnel operates
From public signup
to paid learning access
- 01
Public entry page
A free four-lesson test drive introduces the marketplace-manager profession and directs visitors into a Telegram bot.
- 02
Telegram signup
The funnel creates a contact and subscription context, then links the participant to the lesson workspace.
- 03
Lessons & homework
Four lesson pages, homework submission and reviewer settings support the practical learning experience.
- 04
Timed follow-up & CRM
Five introductory messages are configured at 00:00, 00:05, 01:05, 03:05 and 04:05 after subscription. The interface describes local-time quiet hours; CRM tracks contact and funnel state.
- 05
Paid course & access
The sales funnel links to the practical Marketplace Manager course, connecting the sales process with paid learning access.
The first-day introductory sequence
The configured sequence includes a pause between 22:00 and 07:00 in the participant’s known local time, starting with the fourth introductory message

My contribution
The product and engineering
behind the business workflow
I built and maintained the platform, including the funnel, CRM, messaging and course-delivery infrastructure. Vitaly’s business supplied the offer, content, audience and sales operation. The public funnel also credits Valeriy Gavrilov for implementation support.
- Built the shared platform with funnel pages, CRM, messaging, purchase records, and course delivery
- Provided configurable lesson flows, timed follow-up, homework, and customer-state handling
- Operated a distributed PHP/MySQL product with a separate database for each client installation
The current AI-oriented TypeScript platform evolved from this product. This historical customer outcome is separate from the recent AI-agent activity audit
Customer results
One customer business
with measurable scale
The platform connected a high-volume training business’s customer journey, from Telegram signup to lessons, follow-up, purchases, and course delivery
Approximately $3.75M in USD equivalent
The recorded purchase total is presented using a fixed reference conversion aligned with the previously reported customer case. The conversion is a presentation estimate; transaction-date exchange rates were not reconciled. The underlying measure is purchase-record value; payment settlement and refund reconciliation are outside this review.
10,322 purchase records
Total retained rows in the client’s legacy purchases table. Installments and repeated purchases can create multiple records per CRM contact.
687,104 CRM contact records
Total retained rows in the client’s CRM table at inspection, covering leads, subscribers, and customers. These are contact records; imports and repeated identities can appear in the count.
Historical customer case from the legacy PHP/MySQL platform. The figures describe retained purchase and CRM records, and the workflow describes the inspected configuration. This platform later evolved into the current AI-oriented TypeScript product.
Product ownership
with real operating evidence
I’m looking for a Product Engineer, AI Product Engineer, or Founding Engineer role where I can bring this experience to a team
